Sometimes its worth the wait!
Finding the right moment and taking pictures that mean the world to you are my number one priority. When Steve reached out to organise a newborn shoot for his beautiful new baby girl Allira, he caught me in the middle of a really busy period. Whilst I will always try to accommodate and fit families in, sometimes I just can't juggle anymore balls without comprising something. We worked together to find a date but, when the morning came, the heavens opened and it poured glorious rain. It was so dark and gloomy, we decided to reschedule.
But, our afternoon together FINALLY arrived. And we had the most magical shoot.
What I loved about this little family is how natural they were with each other. Love shines brightly when you can just be yourself. More than this was how much they wanted to celebrate Allira's heritage and incorporate pieces that honoured her culture. I love bringing some cherished items into photos and a gorgeous blanket given by a Grandparent was just perfect for our casual fun look.
